Since 1996, Rendalen Fjellridning has welcomed riders of all ages to experience Norway’s mountains from horseback. Based at the Lia farm in Unset, this family-run business combines agriculture with a deep passion for horses and nature.

From June to September, they offer guided rides ranging from half-day outings to four-day tours and weekend adventures. Two riding camps are held every summer, and courses are available year-round.

Most tours take place in the scenic Rendalen East Mountains, with Klettsetra as the main base. The seter (mountain farm) features three restored houses, offering 16 beds in authentic Norwegian surroundings. Guests can rent a house on its own or as part of a riding experience.

Riders will meet Icelandic horses, Fjord horses, Dølahorses, and warmbloods. Beginners and experienced riders are equally welcome.
